SUMMARY:2025 Christmas Concert
DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n \n \n 	\n 		\n 			\n 			It&#39\;s time f
 or the Annual Oakville Suzuki Association Christma
 s Concert - the only time that all the instruments
  across the OSA come together to perform. It&#39\;
 s also the OSA&#39\;s only&nbsp\;fundraiser of the
  year so please extend an invite to all of your fa
 mily and friends to attend this wonderful concert 
 that all of the teachers and students have worked 
 so hard to put on.\n \n 			Location: Church of the
  Incarnation&nbsp\;1240 Old Abbey Lane\, Oakville\
 n \n 			Dress Code for Audience:&nbsp\;Business Ca
 sual to Formal\n \n 			Dress Code for Musicians:&n
 bsp\;Performers should be dressed in a white top\,
  dark pants or skirt and black shoes.&nbsp\; Speci
 al occasion or &quot\;holiday&quot\; dresses and r
 ed and green accents are also permitted. For examp
 le a Santa hat\, reindeer antlers\, colourful tie 
 or hair ties/bows.\n \n 			*Please note there will
  be ONE concert&nbsp\;this year:\n \n 			&nbsp\;\n
  \n 			\n 				1:45-2:00 pm&nbsp\;- tuning and&nbsp
 \;set-up&nbsp\;for Senior musicians (Book 2 and up
 )\n 				2:00-3:00 pm&nbsp\;&ndash\; Rehearsal of t
 he&nbsp\;Senior&nbsp\;multi-insturment pieces (no 
 audience)\n 				3:00-3:15 pm&nbsp\;- tuning and&nb
 sp\;set-up for&nbsp\;Junior&nbsp\;musicians (Begin
 ner&nbsp\;to&nbsp\;end of&nbsp\;Book 1)\n 				3:30
 -5:00&nbsp\;pm&nbsp\;- Concert&nbsp\;\n 			\n \n

 efreshments will be available for purchase and can
  be enjoyed during the performances. Raffle ticket
 s will also be available for purchase. All proceed
 s will go to the OSA.\n \n 			&nbsp\;\n \n 			*As 
 a courtesy to all audience members\,&nbsp\;if you 
 would like to record any part of the performance w
 ith any device (including smartphones) we ask that
  you move to the sides or the back of the hall to 
 avoid blocking&nbsp\;anyone&#39\;s view.\n \n 			&
 nbsp\;\n \n 			*The concert&nbsp\;is a very family
  friendly event&nbsp\;and we encourage children of
  all ages to attend. For young ones who need to ke
 ep their hands busy while enjoying the music\, a c
 omplimentary Kids&#39\; Colouring Area will be ava
 ilable (supervision not provided).\n \n 			&nbsp\;
 \n \n 			*Please remind your child/ren that it is 
 important that they sit quietly and respectfully w
 hen they are on stage and not playing. Also\, we a
 sk the audience if they need to get up&nbsp\;or mo
 ve\, to do so between the&nbsp\;pieces.\n \n 			&n
 bsp\;\n \n 			Entrance Tickets\n \n 			An&nbsp\;En
 trance ticket is required for all volunteers\, Boa
 rd members\, Committee members\, etc.&nbsp\;\n \n 
 			Ticket&nbsp\;pricing: Advance online tickets $1
 2 until December 12th. $15 at the door on December
  13th.\n \n 			Current registered OSA students\, p
 erforming teachers and children under 12 are free.

 \n 			\n 			\n 			\n 		\n 		\n 			\n 			Tickets pr

  Performing students currently registered with the
  OSA\, OSA teachers and children 12 and under\, ar
 e free.\n 			Purchase Tickets\n 			\n 		\n 		\n 		
 	\n 			SHEET MUSIC&nbsp\;\n \n 			Music sheets for
  the Christmas carols are in the OSA Christmas Car
 ols for Strings books (cello and violin (green cov
 er) and harmony for cello and violin (white cover)
 ). These books are available for purchase\, please
  see your group class teachers.\n \n 			&nbsp\;\n 
 \n 			Carols book (green cover) is $20/ea and Harm
 ony book (white cover) is $20/ea.&nbsp\;e-transfer
  is preferred&nbsp\;to barb@oakvillesuzuki.org and
  please use carols2025&nbsp\;for the password.\n \
 n 			&nbsp\;\n \n 			Students should check with pr
 ivate teacher and/or&nbsp\;group class teachers on
  which music part to play (eg. Violin 1\, Harmony\
 , Violin 3\, etc.)&nbsp\;Flute students should che
 ck witih your teacher for music.\n \n 			&nbsp\;\n
