  Class&nbsp\;is based&nbsp\;on the RCM Level 9 Mus
 ic History curriculum\,&nbsp\;and&nbsp\;is an adve
 nture into the people\, places and pieces that mak
 e up the body of classical&nbsp\;music we play and
  love so much.\n You will&nbsp\;learn all about th
 e composers you play and the music they wrote\, al
 l within the era they lived in.&nbsp\;Knowing more
  about its place in Music History gives music ener
 gy and perspective.\n \n By the end of the course\
 , you will be ready to write the RCM exam and be a
 ble to wow your friends with your knowledge.\n \n 
 You do not need to be in Level 9 RCM or the equiva
 lent in your instrument to take this course.\n Thi
 s course is available to both OSA and non-OSA stud
 ents.&nbsp\;OSA students will receive a discount i
 n their shopping cart.\n \n Music History is taugh
 t by OSA teacher\,&nbsp\;Michelle Coon\, an RCM ce
 rtified teacher in all levels of Theory\, History 
 and Harmony.\n Tuesdays at 6:30- 7:30 pm at QEPCCC
 . Check the calendar for specific dates.\n \n Note
 :&nbsp\;Course materials (RCM text\, workbook and 
 other materials) are not included in the registrat
 ion fee. They will be available to purchase at the
