Creative Ability Development (Musical Improvisation)

Creative Ability Development (Musical Improvisation)

Creative Ability Development (CAD) is a musical discipline that develops our minds through musical improvisation.  Dr. Sera Smolen calls it the "art of choice".  Students have lots of fun playing musical games, all the while learning about how they can create their own music.  Composers over the years have learned how to compose their own music by learning how to impovise.  CAD is also extremely beneficial for mental health, and has been shown to reduce anxiety and depression.  We are creative beings, and our brains thrive on playing the music that comes from our hearts.
