Addy has been playing the violin since she was three at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. Since then, Addy has been a part of numerous chamber ensembles, youth orchestras, orchestras, performance groups, masterclasses and competitions across Canada and America. Addy currently plays with the Oakville Symphony Orchestra.
Addy has obtained her Masters in violin performance from the University of Western Ontario, studying under Annette Barbara-Vogel. In June 2021, Addy graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor degree in Violin Performance under the tutelage of Mark Skazinetsky (Associate Concertmaster of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra).
One of Addy’s most recent and notable performances was playing alongside with the New Orford String Quartet, which took place in January 2024.
Addy teaches through the Oakville Suzuki Association, where she teaches private lessons, group classes and coaches chamber. Addy has completed book 10 Suzuki teacher training, and strongly believes that every child can learn in a supportive and nurturing environment. Addy teaches a wide range of students from children to adults and offers both Suzuki and RCM methods.
