Refund Policy for Group and Private Lessons

Refund requests must be submitted in writing by email or letter.

Requests submitted prior to November 1st will be subject to the following conditions:  

  • The OSA Administrator must be notified 21 days prior to the date of withdrawal
  • The OSA Membership fee will be refunded less an Administrative fee of $25
  • The Group class fees will be eligible for a pro-rated partial refund based on the date of withdrawal (i.e. 21 days after written notification). Please note that this policy applies to OSA administered group classes only. Group classes arranged and administered by an individual teacher may have different refund policies.
  • Refund policies for withdrawal from private lessons are determined by the individual teachers.

After November 1st there is no refund of the OSA Membership fee. Requests for group class refunds will be considered on a case by case basis.  

Private Lesson Cancellation:

  • Student Initiated: neither the teacher nor the OSA is responsible for a lesson fee refund or to schedule a make up lesson
  • Teacher Initiated: the teacher will schedule a make up lesson or issue a refund
  • OSA teachers are granted one sick or snow day/year (that does not need to be made up)
